One of the activities we were looking forward to the most! On Saturday we took a cooking class with the highly reviewed Silom Cooking School and made a 5 course meal. We arrived in the afternoon and started with a visit to the local market to get schooled on staple ingredients like lemon grass, ginger, peppers, loads and loads of vegetables, mint and sweet basil. After that we went to the school with about 6 other students from various places including China and Austria. Our final homemade menu: Tom Yum Goong (Sweet & Sour Soup), Green Curry with Chicken, Spring Rolls, Pad Thai, and Mango with Sticky Rice (FAVORITE!!!)
