About 11 hours since breaking down on the side of the road, the rescue bus finally arrived and by some miracle, we were among the first on the bus to get a seat.  Others had to settle for a plastic stool in the middle of the aisle.  Current location: somewhere between Luang Prabang and Vientiane, Laos.
