A Calmer Day In Pai

Our second full day in Pai was way more relaxed after the horror of day 1. We started with brunch at the cafe just opposite our hostel – it’s called Boomalicious and it was delicious – then hit a few sites that were luckily only 20 minutes away from town. We started off at Wat Phra That Mae Yen which hosts a beautiful view and a huge white Buddha and best of all, it was free! Then we continued on to the Hot Springs but they didnt look super appealing so we skipped that. Popped over to a strawberry farm (this area of Thailand has bomb strawberries), stopped by Memorial bridge and then ended the day at the canyon to watch the sunset and take in some more amazing and stunning views. It was a perfect end to what was a rough start in Pai.
